Cross-Reactivity (Details)
- Goat anti Pig IgG (H/L) antibody may cross react with IgG from other species.
-
Characteristics
- Goat anti Pig IgG (H/L) antibody recognizes porcine IgG (heavy and light chains) and has been shown to react specifically with porcine IgG and with light chains common to other pig immunoglobulins, by immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA.
-
Purification
- Antisera to porcine IgG were raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography using antigen coupled to agarose beads.
